Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training to be offered at Technical College of the Lowcountry in Bluffton.
The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program provides training to Beaufort County residents to increase self-sufficiency in a disaster. Participants learn skills that will enable them to provide emergency assistance to their families and neighbors.
CERT classes are free of charge and are held at the Technical College of the Lowcountry (Room 125), 100 Community College Drive, Bluffton, SC 29909.
The CERT course is taught in four sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and concludes with a practical exercise on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Below is the April 2018 schedule for CERT.
