The South Brunswick Police and Office of Emergency Management are advising residents of the impact to the Township from the Nor’Easter.
Between 9:00 AM, March 2nd to 12:00 Noon today:
- Total Calls: 222
Current Road Closures
o Dey Road: Route 130 to Orchardside Rd for downed wires and trees. PSE&G notified.
o Broadway Rd: Melrich Rd to Miller Rd for downed wires and trees. PSE&G notified.
o Beekman Rd: In vicinity of 185 Beekman Rd for downed wires and trees. PSE&G notified.
o Rte 27 North (Shoulder at Magyar Savings Bank): live wire down. PSE&G notified.
Past Road Closures
o Fresh Ponds Rd: was closed for approximately 6 hours and is open
Power Outages
o None known
Calls for Wires, Poles, Trees Down
o 31 calls throughout the township
Some trees have fallen on vehicles and homes, but there have been no reported injuries.
