Arrest Warrant 
The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team, The Narcotics division, and The road patrol division went to 2549 Ferry Road to serve an arrest warrant on Douglas Wade Melton. When officers arrived, they located Melton in the parking lot and made contact with him. Melton was arrested for the warrant and a loaded .25 caliber pistol was found in his pocket. A search of his vehicle revealed almost 4lbs Marijuana, 128.7 grams of Hashish, 25.5 grams of Rosintech wax which is a derivative of Marijuana. $2,322.00 Dollars U.S. Currency was seized. Several items of drug paraphernalia and the vehicle was seized as well.
Douglas Wade Melton was charged and placed in the custody of Rutherford County Jail under a $100,000.00 Secured Bond
