* WINDS...Northwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph in the valleys with potentially higher gusts along the ridge tops overnight. The strongest winds in the valleys are expected this evening. Strong winds will continue through tonight along the ridge tops.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
