Subject: Search Warrant in Ontwa Township



The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announces that on March 2, 2018 detectives served a search warrant on an address in the 71000 block of Stateline Road in Ontwa Township on the suspicion that the illegal sale and use of marijuana was taking place there.. Upon searching the residence detectives discovered a large amount of processed and packaged marijuana in excess of 30 pounds as well as a storage tote full of marijuana edibles in excess of 40 pounds. Marijuana wax and oil was also located in dozens of small containers that were ready for distribution. Over $30,000 in cash was seized along with several vehicles. Detectives were assisted on scene by the Ontwa Township Edwardsburg Police Department. Warrants are being sought for multiple individuals in this matter and the investigation is still on going at this time.
