Episode 3 of video series “Lowcountry Law: A Look Inside of the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office” available at 5 p.m. 
Sheriff P.J. Tanner encourages Beaufort County residents and guests to stay informed on issues of public safety. To raise awareness of the many services provided by the Sheriff’s Office, a video series, “Lowcountry Law: A Look Inside of the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office,” was launched and premiered on February 2, 2018.
The first video segment provided an overview of the Firearms Training Simulator (FATS), which trains and better prepares our local law enforcement officers in use-of-force situations. The second video segment featured the Sheriff's Office Forensic Services Laboratory and its various capabilities. Our third video, which will be posted and viewable on our YouTube channel at 5 p.m. today, provides an overview of the Sheriff’s Office Bloodhound and Patrol K-9 units.
