Arrests made in the BB gun damage complaints.
Since mid-January, the Green Bay Police Department and Brown County Sheriff’s Office began investigating cases involving criminal damage to windows on vehicles and homes caused by a BB gun. Due to the great work of detectives following up on leads and developing intel, the suspects responsible for these damage complaints have been arrested.
Investigators are recommending charges on four juveniles to Juvenile Intake and one adult to the Brown County District Attorney’s office for over 50 counts of criminal damage to property. “As a department, we understand the affect these types of crimes have on a community,” said Police Chief Andrew Smith. “I want to thank the community for their patience while these cases were being investigated and all the officers and detectives that worked hard on these cases to find people responsible for these crimes,” said Smith.
