Nor'Easter-Today (3-2-18) through Saturday (3-3-18)

A significant Nor’Easter is impacting our region today through Saturday (03/03/18). Current predictions call for a wintry mix before 10:00 am then a transition to rain and snow and then a change to all rain. The rain could be heavy at times.
There is a High Wind Warning for our area until 06:00 am on Saturday (03/03/18). North Winds are predicted to be in the 25 to 35 MPH range with potential gusts up to 60 MPH.
The winds and the heavy snow may knock down trees and power lines. Power outages are expected.
There is a Flood Watch issued for our area through late this evening. Total rainfall could be in the 2-4 inch range. Rivers and streams may exceed their banks.
Today’s temperatures are predicted to be near 40 degrees and tonight’s near 30 degrees with wind chill values near 25 degrees.
Please exercise caution when traveling.
If you experience a power outage, please call PSE&G directly at 1-800-436-7734. Do not call the Police Department to report a power outage or to ask when power will be restored. Reporting a power outages and power outage map can be found at
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this winter event.
