Here is the Public Safety and Crime Information Report for Valencia (Zone 5) from February 5, 2018 to February 18, 2018:

02/18/18
Grand theft: 22990 block of Mulberry Glen Drive
An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s unlocked car and stole a purse and used the victim's bank access card to buy items at a local business. 

02/17/18
Grand theft: 28000 block of Gateway Village Drive
An unknown suspect made entry into a yard and stole tools from cars parked inside the lot. 

02/16/18
Vehicle burglary: 24000 block of Valencia Boulevard.
An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s locked vehicle and stole a laptop which was left on the backseat. 

02/15/18
Burglary: 23900 block of Decoro Drive
An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s residence and stole cash and coins.  

02/14/18

Grand theft auto:
An unknown suspect stole a 2007 Lexus IS 250, silver in color.   

02/13/18
Assault w/ a deadly weapon (vehicle): Newhall Ave./ Oakridge Dr.
The victim and the suspect were involved in a road rage incident while driving. The suspect followed the victim until he stopped, and tried to attack him with a machete.

Attempt arson: 25700 block of Covala Street
An unknown suspect tried to light the victim’s car on fire.

Petty Theft: 24000 block of Valencia Boulevard
An unknown male walked out of the store with several clothing items. 

02/09/18
Vehicle burglary: Del Monte Dr. / McBean Pkwy.
Person(s) unknown smashed the window to the vehicle and stole several personal items. 

02/08/18
Vehicle burglary: 25000 block of Magic Mountain Parkway
Suspect(s) unknown entered the victim’s locked vehicle and stole a wallet.  

02/07/18
Petty theft:  23000 block of Via Barra
Suspect(s) unknown entered the victim’s unlocked car and stole several items including an iPad, camera, and sunglasses.

02/06/18
Grand theft: 24700 block of Trevino Drive
A suspect was arrested at the location after he stole a golf cart.    
 
02/05/18,
Vehicle burglary: 27000 block of Wayne Mills Place
Suspect(s) unknown smashed a window to the victim’s vehicle and stole an Apple MacBook pro.
