Cancer CAREpoint Beneficiary of Pink Patch Project
Today, the Santa Clara Police Department and Santa Clara Police Officer’s Association proudly presented Cancer CAREpoint with a check for $3,000 as a result of the Pink Patch Project.
Last October was the Department’s first time participating in the Pink Patch Project. The Pink Patch Project is a public awareness campaign, in partnership with over 150 Law Enforcement agencies nationwide, designed to bring attention to the fight against cancer and supports breast cancer research organizations in combating this devastating disease.
Through sales of patches within the Department and among the community, Cancer CAREpoint is able to provide personalized counseling, assistance, resources, and education to Silicon Valley cancer patients, their families and caregivers.
