* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 9 inches. Locally higher amounts possible.

* WHERE...St. Clair, Macomb, Washtenaw and Wayne Counties.

* WHEN...From now through 4 AM EST Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heavy snow will continue through the evening peak travel period and then diminish during late evening. Plan on dangerous travel conditions and be prepared for significant reductions in visibility.

* AFFECTED AREAS: MACOMB ... ST. CLAIR ... WASHTENAW ... WAYNE
