Yesterday, Tomika Ann Lee who is the mother of Josiah Lee aka Gwala was arrested for Hindering the Apprehension of her son for over a year.  When Tomika Lee found out that Sheriff’s Deputies were looking for her son for murder,  she drove him away, sent him out of town, and supported him financially for over a year to avoid capture.  This now makes a total of 4 individuals identified in aiding a murderer to avoid arrest.  The investigation is continuing to identify others who help Gwala avoid being arrested for over a year.

Gwala made #1 on Sheriff Victor Hill’s Top Ten Most Wanted back in September 2016 when he and members of his Brim Blood’s gang had broken in to a man’s home stealing his iPhone and other items.  The victim of the burglary traced his iphone to where Gwala and his gang members were at.  When the victim confronted them about breaking into his house, Gwala shot him six times.  The victim fell on his back, lifted his head once and died.
