Fairfield PD to host forum on Active Shooter Response: Thurs March 15, 6:30-8:30pm @ FF Community Center
The Fairfield Police Department will be hosting a Community Education Forum on Active Shooter Response on Thursday, March 15, 2018, from 6:30-8:30pm, at the Fairfield Community Center. This forum will be presented by our Active Shooter Response training team. We will be discussing what to do in the event of an active shooter and explaining how we respond to these events.
The FPD Active Shooter Response Training Team has presented this forum to schools and businesses throughout Fairfield and we wanted to give the general public the opportunity to see the presentation. Due to the recent school shooting in Florida, this forum was added to our calendar of ongoing Community Education Forums.
This forum is an informational presentation designed to help the public in the event of an active shooter. This will not be a discussion on political issues. Children under 16 should have parent/guardian present.
