2/26 – 4:05 p.m. – Police received a call for a subject dumping trash, and then driving away at an excessive speed, at Veterans Drive & Elm Street. The officer recognized the description of the van given by the witness. He located the van and the driver, on West White Street. While the officer was attempting to ask the subject questions, the subject began to attempt to run in the house. The officer told the individual to stop, and he did not. The officer caught up with the subject, who then resisted the officer. John R. Meadows, age 65 of Millstadt, was charged with Illegal Dumping and Disorderly Conduct.
