UPDATE: Phuong Le was located in San Bernardino and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Victim: Phuong Le, age 54 of Highland
UPDATE:
On February 27, 2018, at approximately 6:28 am, medical personnel received a call of a female found lying on the ground in the 2600 block of N. Macy St. in San Bernardino. Medical personnel arrived and transported the female to a local hospital. Deputies responded to the hospital and verified the female was Phuong Le. A short time after her arrival at the hospital, Le was tragically pronounced deceased. Although not suspected at this time, an investigation is being conducted to rule out foul play .
SUMMARY: Deputies from the Highland Police Department are searching for missing person Phuong Le. Sheriff’s Aviation and a K-9 unit have been searching the area in an around Peacock where Ms. Le was last seen at 4:00 pm today. Ms. Le is described as 5'5 110 lbs, brown hair, brown eyes. Ms. Le only speaks Vietnamese and family states she suffers from dementia. She was last seen wearing an aqua marine blouse the same blouse as the one in her photo.
