Local rain and incoming water from Dallas have created a current release at the Livingston dam of 30,600 cfs, 
Additional increases in the release are possible, monitor local media for updates on Trinity River conditions. Releases of 50,000 and above tend to cut off entry roads into several river front subdivisions.
If you reside in one of the dozen or so subdivisions along the river, and you normally experience road closures in your subdivision during high water events, please make preparations to visit friends or relatives on higher ground or make sure you have your supplies if you intend to stay in your home until the water recedes.
