On Monday, February 26th the Central Marin Police Authority will be conducting a special traffic enforcement operation in various locations throughout our jurisdiction. Our goal is to educate motorists about the dangers of driving at an unsafe speed for conditions. We want to remind drivers in our communities about the danger of driving too fast, and to make the streets safer for everyone. Driving at unsafe speed for conditions was the number one primary collision factor in injury traffic collisions for 2017.

Special operations like this are aimed at reducing collisions and cutting down on distracted driving. We remind all motorists to always be alert and patient when behind the wheel.
