The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Henderson County in southwestern Tennessee... McNairy County in southwestern Tennessee... Hardin County in southwestern Tennessee... Decatur County in Middle Tennessee... Chester County in southwestern Tennessee...

* Until 1100 PM CST

* At 802 PM CST...Doppler Radar estimates 1 to 2 inches of rain has occurred in the past 8 hours. Showers and thunderstorms will produce an additional 1 to 3 inches of rain over the next 3 hours.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lexington, Savannah, Henderson, Selmer, Pickwick Landing State Park, Natchez Trace State Park, Chickasaw State Park, Natchez Trace State Forest, Big Hill Pond State Park, Parsons, Adamsville, Decaturville, Sardis, Pickwick Dam, Masseyville, Reagan, Bargerton, Jacks Creek, Blue Goose and Mifflin.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CHESTER ... DECATUR ... HARDIN ... HENDERSON ... MCNAIRY

Instructions:

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
