The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a

* Flood Advisory for... St. Tammany Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Washington Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Southern Walthall County in southern Mississippi... Southeastern Pike County in southern Mississippi... West central Pearl River County in southern Mississippi...

* Until 215 PM CST

* At 1219 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to training of showers and isolated thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Additional rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ST. TAMMANY

Instructions:

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying spots. A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
