...LIGHT ACCUMULATING SNOW POSSIBLE LATE THIS EVENING AND
OVERNIGHT...

A low pressure system dropping south along the coast tonight and early Thursday will bring the potential for some light accumulating snow to the South Washington and North Oregon coastal areas. Precipitation will likely start out this evening as light snow or a rain/snow mix, with little to no accumulation to start the event as surface temperatures will likely remain just above freezing. Precipitation will likely transition to all snow overnight as winds turn offshore, with some light accumulations possible between midnight and 6 AM. Expect up to an inch in places by early Thursday morning, with chances for accumulating snow increasing as you get higher in elevation.
