Due to heavy rainfall frozen ground conditions, there are several areas of localized flooding throughout the City of Janesville. The following streets are closed to traffic due to high water levels:

• Ruger Avenue from S Pontiac Drive to N/S Wright Road
• Palmer Drive from Beloit Avenue to Midland Road
• Arbor Drive from E Racine Street to Harmony Drive
• E Delavan Drive from S Jackson Street to S Wright Road
• Somerset Drive from Windsor Lane to Greendale Drive
• Afton Road from Rockport Road to the Bellrichard Bridge
• Sharon Street from Palmer Drive to E Delavan Drive
• Todd Drive from Sharon Street to E Delavan Drive
• Main Street from Palmer Drive to E Delavan Drive
• S Lexington Drive from S Pontiac Drive to Mohawk Road
• Mohawk Road from S Lexington Drive to Palmer Drive

The streets will remain closed until the water over the surface has receded to a safe, passable level. For your safety, please refrain from driving through standing or flowing water.

Please note that high water has been reported on several City streets. We have closed those streets that pose a safety risk to travelling vehicles, but there are still several that may see water levels rising.
