...Widespread Temperatures well Below Freezing... .A very cold airmass is over Northern California. The coldest temperatures are expected Tuesday morning, with another night of freezing temperatures Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. ...HARD FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM PST WEDNESDAY... The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a Hard Freeze Warning, which is in effect until 8 AM PST Wednesday.

* TEMPERATURE...Overnight low temperatures of 22 to 29 degrees.

* TIMING....Coldest Tuesday morning, widespread lows in the low to upper 20s with several hours of subfreezing temperatures likely.

* IMPACTS...Freezing temperatures can damage or kill plants and trees that are sensitive to cold. Consider wrapping external pipes which may be vulnerable to freezing.
