The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has extended the

* Flood Warning for Small Streams in... East central Calhoun County in north central West Virginia... Randolph County in northeastern West Virginia... Southeastern Ritchie County in northwestern West Virginia... Northeastern Pocahontas County in northeastern West Virginia... Southern Doddridge County in northern West Virginia... Gilmer County in north central West Virginia... Lewis County in northern West Virginia... Braxton County in north central West Virginia... Upshur County in northeastern West Virginia... Northeastern Webster County in northeastern West Virginia... Barbour County in northeastern West Virginia... Southern Harrison County in northern West Virginia...

* Until 215 AM EST Saturday

* At 751 PM EST, although rain has move out of the area, stream gauges indicated that larger creeks and rivers continue to rise and will cause flooding problems. Gauges indicate flooding on the Middle Fork of the Tygart Valley River at Audra and Ellamore.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Weston, Glenville, Sutton, Audra State Park, Gassaway, Mill Creek, Jackson Mill, Dailey, Cedar Creek State Park, Stonewall Jackson, Rock Cave, Holly River State, Beverly, Junior, Burnsville and Lost Creek.

* AFFECTED AREAS: RANDOLPH ... RITCHIE

Instructions:

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
