The final draft of the Lake County Hazard Mitigation Plan 2018 Update has been posted to the Sheriff's Website. http://www.lakesheriff.com/About/OES/Plans.htm
The Plan will be submitted to the Governor's Office of Emergency Services, and Federal Emergency Management Agency next week. Upon those agency's approval, the Plan will be adopted by the Lake County Disaster Council & Board of Supervisors,
The Plan is a required element of the County's ability to remain eligible for grants from FEMA. It is required to be updated every five years.
