Lawrence Township News for the Upcoming Week


All Municipal Offices are closed on Monday, February 19, 2018, in observance of Presidents' Day.

Trash will be collected as scheduled on Monday, February 19th.



IRS Scam - During this tax season, the frequency of scams involving the IRS is on the rise. Don't become a victim. Follow the recommendations from the IRS to avoid being scammed by clicking this link.



TAX INFORMATION - Lawrence Township residents can retrieve their 2017 property tax payment information by clickng this link for "Online Tax Search".



Mercer County Shredding Event - Mercer County Improvement Authority will be hosting a Shredding Event on Saturday, February 24, 2018, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at Lot 4, 651 South Broad Street in Trenton. Please click here for additional details.



I-95 and I-295 Redesignation - New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) is continuing to work on replacing signage on I-95.  Click here for a project overview or go to the NJDOT website for additional information.



Dog License Renewal  -   You can still come in to the Clerk's Office to purchase your license without a late fee in February.  Late fees will be assessed beginning March 1.  All dogs seven months and older must be licensed. Road Work

  • Bakers Basin Road - PSE&G continues their work on Bakers Basin Road in preparation of Mercer County's bridge repair project.  Please click here for further information.
  • The Route #1 construction project is moving along.   The circle is now open at Route #1 and Whitehead Road.  The construction project is still ongoing - please continue to use caution in this area.

 

Brush must not be placed at the curb for pick-up earlier than the weekend prior to your designated pick-up week.

The week of February 20 is Zone 3.  If you are unsure of your designated zone for your property, you may check the On-Line Property search on Township website at www.lawrencetwp.com.

Material should be placed in an area on the street not greater than four feet (4’) from the edge of the pavement.  Trees greater than an 8-inch caliper may not be disposed of through curbside collection.  Materials shall not be piled greater than three (3’) in height.  Once the truck has collected your street, they will not return until the next month’s collection.
