On 02-13-18 at approximately 4 p.m. Officer Rau made a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Court/Garfield. Officer Rau discovered evidence of drug use, and requested assistance from the on duty K9 unit. The front seat passenger of the vehicle fled the scene on foot, and the K9 was deployed to assist in apprehending the subject.
The fleeing subject was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit and identified as Sheadrick A. Williams, 27 years old of Beloit. He was charged with the following and is awaiting court proceedings at the Rock County Jail:
Possession of THC.
Possession with intent to deliver cocaine.
Possession of drug paraphernalia.
Resisting an officer.
