INCIDENT:    Lewd Acts with a Child Under the age of 14/ Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child Under the age of 14
 
LOCATION: 8000 block of Monte Vista Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga
 
SUSPECT:    Douglas Richard Bray, 50 year old male
 
VICTIM:          Confidential – 9-year-old female
 
 
SUMMARY:
On February 7, 2018,  deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Station responded to an elementary school reference a Children and Family Services immediate response referral regarding allegations that a nine-year-old female juvenile was sexually molested by her legal guardian, Douglas Richard Bray.
 
Deputies initiated the investigation and learned Bray and his wife have operated a private daycare center from their residence since 2004. Due to the circumstances of the case, the Crimes Against Children Detail assumed the investigation. Upon completion of the interview with Bray, he was subsequently arrested for lewd acts with a minor under 14, and continuous sexual abuse with a minor under 14. 
 
Bray was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with bail was set at $250,000.
 
Detectives believe there may be additional victims assaulted by Douglas Bray at the Bray Family Childcare.
