UPDATE Sheriff's Aviation 40K1 located MISSING PERSON Epifania Flores safe and she has been reunited with her family

LOCATION: 42000 Block of Hinkley Road, Barstow
VICTIM: Epifania Flores, age 75 Hispanic female, 5’0” brn eyes, blk hair, wearing blk Poncho, orange shirt, grey pants, white hat.
SUMMARY: UPDATE - Thursday, February 8, 2018 6:40pm
At approximately 5:00 pm the crew of Sheriff's Aviation 40K1 located
missing person Epifania Flores. Search and Rescue members immediately responded to her location and transported her to the command post where she was reunited with her family. Ms. Flores was found to be in good condition.

The search continues this morning for Epifania Flores.
Deputies from the Barstow Sheriff's Station, Search and Rescue personnel, Sheriff's Aviation and a Sheriff's K9 are continuing the search this morning for missing person Epifania Flores.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Ms. Flores are urged to call the Barstow Sheriff's Station at (760) 256-4838 or 911 immediately.

The public's assistance is needed in locating missing person Epifania Flores. Ms. Flores was reported missing by her family at 6:20 pm. Family members stated she was last seen at her home in the 42000 block of Hinkley Road in Barstow at 5:00 pm.
Deputies from the Barstow Sheriff's Station immediately began a search of the area. Sheriff's Aviation is assisting in the search by conducting an aerial search and a Sheriff's Dept K9 unit has responded and is actively searching for Ms. Flores.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.
