The City of Rosemead has contracted with West Coast Arborist (WCA) to complete the tree trimming maintenance along the rights-of-way of Valley Boulevard beginning February 13th and ending on February 15th. In hopes of reducing impacts to the traffic along Valley Boulevard, WCA will be limited to 3 hours each way on Valley Boulevard (9:00 a.m. to noon – eastbound and noon to 3:00 p.m. westbound). One lane will be closed in the area where they are working for their safety and the safety of vehicles driving on Valley Boulevard. This is being done as part of Rosemead’s ongoing beautification efforts. Proper trimming and pruning not only improves the beauty and form of trees but removes dead and diseased limbs, reduces safety issues, and stimulates growth.
