With heavy snow on the way, this is just a friendly reminder that is a violation of local ordinance to snow blow or shovel snow from your private property onto the roadway. This can create a hazardous situation for motorists and makes the task of removing snow more difficult for our public works crews. I have included the wording from our local ordinance for your information.

No person shall deposit or cause to be deposited any snow and/or ice from private property on or against a fire hydrant, or on any public sidewalk, public roadway or loading and unloading areas of a public transportation system.
