WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW UNTIL 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Freezing rain. Additional ice accumulations of a light
glaze are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Virginia and
southeast West Virginia.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST this afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A light glaze will be mainly on elevated
surfaces such as bridges and overpasses, as well as trees and
metal objects.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing rain
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads.
Slow down and use caution while driving. The latest road
conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by
calling 5 1 1.

The public is encouraged to report ice accumulation to the
