Saugus Public Safety & Crime Information Report

Here is the Saugus (Zone 4) Public Safety and Crime Information Report for January 16 - 28, 2018:


Petty Theft – Lorita Lane/Sidani Lane 
A theft from an unlocked vehicle was reported at the above location. The suspect stole an iPod and handbag. 

Burglary – 22500 block of Decoro Drive 

The victim reported that an unknown suspect entered his home through the unlocked front door and stole a Dell laptop computer and a checkbook. 

Mail Theft – 22600 block of Garzota Drive 

An unknown suspect pried open the community mailbox at the location and stole U.S. mail from the box. 

Grand Theft – 27100 block Seco Canyon Road 

An unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole several butcher knives from the interior of the vehicle.

Grand Theft – 22100 block of Copperhill Drive 

A backflow valve was stolen from the above location. The valve belonged to the City of Santa Clarita and has an estimated value of $5000.
