On February 3, 2018, at 11:35 p.m. a Green 1999 Jeep was stopped near the intersection of Hart and Clark Street in Princeton for failing to signal a turn. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputies detected the odor of alcohol coming from the driver 23 year old Daniel Decker of Princeton. At that point Deputy Ben Kiesel with the assistance of Deputy U.B. Smith began a roadside DUI investigation. At the conclusion of their investigation Mr. Decker was transported to the Gibson County Jail by Deputy Kiesel where he was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated (DUI). Mr. Decker has since posted a $450 bond.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
