UPDATE: Burglary Suspect has been APPREHENDED

UPDATE:
On February 2, 2018, the NBPD sent out an advisory about an individual wanted for 2 burglaries in New Brunswick. The suspect has been identified as Kenneth McNeil and was apprehended at 10:30am on Sunday, February 4, 2018. The NBPD would like to thank everyone who called in and assisted with identifying Mr. McNeil.

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
The New Brunswick Police Department is investigating two burglaries that occurred in different neighborhoods throughout the City over the last week. The same suspect is believed to be associated with both burglaries. In each incident, the suspect gained access to occupied homes and collected various items belonging to the residents. During each incident, the suspect and the residents did not encounter each other. When leaving the residence, the suspect obtained car keys found in the home and fled in the resident’s vehicle parked outside.
