...WINTRY WEATHER CONTINUES ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE CAROLINAS THIS MORNING... .A low pressure system will cross the area this morning with abundant moisture. This moisture will encounter cold air in place across the region to yield freezing rain. Temperatures should warm sufficiently to support all rain throughout the region by this afternoon. ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EST TODAY...

* WHAT...Freezing rain. Total ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of upstate South Carolina and piedmont North Carolina.
