...ICY SPOTS LIKELY FOR THE MORNING COMMUTE...

Colder air moving in behind a cold front has allowed temperatures
to drop below freezing across the Potomac Highlands, the
Interstate 81 corridor between Staunton and Hagerstown, the Blue
Ridge, and the western suburbs of Washington DC and Baltimore.
With the ground still wet, this has permitted patches of ice to 
form. Slick conditions will be most likely in sheltered 
locations, where the wind has not had an opportunity to dry the 
pavement.

Motorists should use extreme caution commuting this morning.
Pedestrians should also walk with care. Many spots that appear wet
may in fact be slippery.
