INCIDENT:    Murder Investigation

LOCATION:   16000 block of Forrest Ave, Victorville

SUSPECT:  Unknown

VICTIM(S):  Don Grigsby, 60 years old, San Bernardino County Resident (Deceased)

 Gregory Wilburn, 37 years old, San Bernardino County Resident

UPDATE – February 1, 2018:

Homicide Investigators are continuing to seek information related to this fatal shooting.  During the course of their investigation, they discovered video from a nearby gas station that depicts a dark colored, newer model Chrysler sedan that may have been at the Forrest Ave. home when the shooting occurred. Investigators are attempting to identify and speak with the owner/driver of this vehicle.

SUMMARY: 

On January 30, 2018, at 11:08 p.m., deputies responded to a shots fired call at the 16000 block of Forrest Ave. in Victorville.  Upon arrival, deputies found Grigsby shot and attempted life saving measures.  Another victim was shot, but his injuries were not life threatening.  Paramedics transported Grigsby to Victor Valley Hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 11:55 p.m.  

Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators responded and are conducting an investigation.  

The motive for the shooting remains under investigation. There is no suspect description available for release at this time.
