3 arrested for selling stolen merchandise on Facebook

SUMMARY:
On January 26, 2018, deputies from Victorville Police Department’s Retail Theft Division began an investigation into information received about stolen merchandise being sold on Facebook.
During the investigation, deputies discovered Marshay Horton, who is currently on probation for a previous grand theft charge, was selling merchandise stolen from multiple stores lovated in the Mall of Victor Valley. Deputies conducted a probation check at Horton’s home, where they located and recovered a large amount of stolen merchandise. During the search of Horton’s home, deputies received further information that led them to another residence where additional stolen items were located.
Horton was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for receiving stolen property and violation of probation. Also, Danille Jones and Myisha Davis were cited for possession of stolen property.
Deputies are continuing their investigation into this case, following up on additional information they received.
