#011 Injury Collision
Traffic Officer Hartman investigated a visible injury accident where a motorcycle collided with a vehicle near Cushing/Fremont. The motorcycle rider’s leg was injured in the collision and he was transported to the hospital for further medical care.
#012 Occupied Stopen Vehicle
At 8:35 a.m., the owner of a tow truck company in Berkeley called to report that one of his tow trucks was stolen last night from a secure yard in Berkeley and GPS was reporting the truck to be on Christy St. in Fremont. Officer Tran made contact with the victim, confirmed the truck was a stolen vehicle and began updating officers on the vehicle’s location as it moved through the south end of Fremont. SRO Luevano located the tow truck at Northport/Cushing and a high risk stop was initiated. The suspect initially stopped but then decided to flee the stop in the stolen tow truck and a pursuit was initiated. The stolen vehicle was only able to travel at speeds of approximately 30-40 MPH and eventually entered the freeway at Durham/I680 heading northbound. CHP was notified and requested to take over the pursuit which continued N/B on I680 at 40 MPH. Officer Kwok was able to conduct a traffic break behind the pursuit providing a clear freeway as the pursuit continued. CHP took over the pursuit at I680/Sheridan and continued the pursuit towards Castro Valley. CHP was able to successfully spike strip the vehicle and took the suspect, a 55 year old male, Santa Barbara resident into custody on W/B I580 in Castro Valley. The suspect stated that he stole the tow truck because the tow company had previously towed one of his vehicles. Thank you to CHP for their assistance.
#014 Grand Theft
Officer Kwok is investigating the theft of 3 semi-conductor chambers from 4050 Technology Pl. worth approximately $30k. An employee saw a male in the parking lot hiding in a bush this morning at 400 a.m. but did not call. The theft was found at 800 a.m. at which time we were contacted. CSI Richards responded to assist with evidence collection and possible suspect leads.
#025 Shoplifting
At 1:24 p.m., Officer Han responded to Whole Foods after a 53 year old female Oakland resident was detained for shopping lifting. She also had an active warrant. The female was arrested and transported to Fremont Jail.
#037 Suspended Driver’s License
Officer Gaziano conducted a traffic stop in the area of Farwell Dr. and Paxton Ct., where he arrested/cited a 26 year old male, Union City resident for driving with a suspended driver’s license.
#026 Petty Theft
At 1:34 p.m., loss prevention from the Walmart store in the 4400 block of Osgood Rd. detained a 30 year old adult male, Vacaville resident for stealing merchandise from the store. Officer Kwok responded and issued Rieger a citation for theft.
#039 Estes Robbery
At 8:28 p.m., the manager at Safeway called 9-1-1 after she saw a subject physically assaulting an employee. The employee tried to stop the suspect from stealing merchandise. The suspect punched the employee to make his escape. The uspect was last seen getting into a mid- 2000’s 4-door black Nissan Altima which was occupied by 4 other subjects. Suspect: Black male adult, 18-25 years old, 5-10, heavy build, short black hair, flat top style. He was last seen wearing a black hoody, black jeans, and black shoes.
#001 Assault with a Deadly Weapon
At 10:58 p.m., Officer DeStefano was dispatched to a stabbing and the 24 year old adult male victim was at a local hospital. The victim reported he was stabbed in the shoulder near the Train Depot. The wound was considered minor and the victim was not cooperative in identifying the suspect.

#030 Under the Influence Arrest
During a pedestrian stop in the 400 block of Technology Drive Officer Hanrahan arrested a 48 year old adult male, Vallejo resident for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
#010 Estes Robbery
At 8:46 a.m., Ofc. Gigliotti investigated a robbery that occurred at O’Reilly Auto Parts in Irvington. A store employee reported that he was robbed in the parking lot by a Black male adult wearing a beanie, grey hoodie, black shorts, and blue Adidas slippers driving a black Nissan Versa with a Pit-bull in the vehicle. Loss was hubcaps from a parked vehicle.
#041 Warrant Arrest
Officer LaStrape conducted a pedestrian stop in the area of Fremont Blvd and Eugene Street. A 57 year old female, Fremont resident, was arrested for her outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

Attempted traffic stop/evading arrest
Officer Gigliotti attempted a traffic stop on a black Acura with paper plates. The vehicle immediately took off and was not pursued. Follow up to be conducted and documented by Ofc. Gigliotti.
#027 Stolen Vehicle
At 11:03 p.m., Officer Gonzales located an occupied stolen vehicle. Officer Gonzales spotted the vehicle traveling northbound I880 and followed the vehicle into Hayward until sufficient FPD units assisted with a felony car stop. A 45 year old adult male, San Lorenzo resident was arrested for theft of a vehicle and booked into FPD jail. Incident supervised by Sgt. Baca.
#026 Felony Warrant Arrest
At 10:39 p.m., Ofc. Carter spotted a male with a warrant sitting in front of the Lucky’s at Charter Square. In addition, the male had a probation violation. He was arrested and booked into FPD jail.
#002 Armed Robbery
At 12:09 a.m., a suspect robbed the Kwik and Convenient Market on Walnut Ave at gun point. Loss was cash, alcohol and cigarettes. The suspect was wearing a black mask, olive colored sweatshirt with a design, olive colored pants and black shoes. The weapon was a handgun. The suspect pointed the handgun at the clerk, produced a bag and placed the loot inside of it. The suspect fled on foot heading east towards Wells Fargo. Surveillance video was recovered from inside of the store. Case investigated by Officer Calvin and supervised by Sgt. Ehling.
#015 Stolen Trailer
At 2:48 p.m., Officers Wong and Kennedy were dispatched to a trespassing call in the 41200 block of Vargas Road when they see the suspect take off in a jeep attempting to flee. Turns out the Jeep gets stuck in the mud. The trailer involved is discovered to be stolen. A 41 year old adult male, San Lorenzo resident was arrested for taking a vehicle without permission, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing/resisting, trespassing and failing to obey a peace officer.
