Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole merchandise from a Commack store.

A man stole a Nest thermostat valued at $199 from Kohl’s, located at 45 Crooked Hill Road in Commack, on January 12 at approximately 8 p.m. He then fled in a white box truck with the lettering “Viking Plumbing Supply” on the side. The suspect is described as a medium build white male with a mustache and goatee who was wearing glasses and a camouflage-patterned hat.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
