*Update #LASD SEB Personnel, Arrest Made of Barricaded Suspect, 11900 blk Cheshire St, Norwalk

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) has concluded their tactical response to assist Norwalk Station in the containment of a barricaded “illegal shooting suspect” on the 11900 block of Cheshire Street, Norwalk.
 
Norwalk Station deputies responded to the location regarding an “illegal shooting” call.  When deputies arrived they saw three suspect’s exit a vehicle.  Suspect one was detained and taken into custody in front of the location, suspect two fled the scene and was located nearby on Barnwall Avenue, Norwalk, he was detained and taken into custody, and suspect three barricaded himself inside the residence at the location.
 
After several hours and verbal attempts by LASD Crisis Negotiations Team members to persuade suspect three to surrender, he refused to comply. After SEB deputies used diversionary tactics, and deployed tear gas the suspect exited the location.  He was detained and taken into custody.  
 
No Deputies were injured during this incident. 
 
The area was deemed safe and all neighborhood evacuees were allowed to return to their homes.
 
All three suspects were arrested and transported to Norwalk Sheriff’s Station where they were booked for the following; Suspect one, Abraham Lopez Del Toro, male Hispanic, DOB 05/13/1989, was arrested for shooting in a grossly negligent manner and held on $35,000.00 in lieu of bail; Suspect two, David Gonzales, male Hispanic, DOB 03/22/1996 was arrested for shooting in a grossly negligent manner and held on $35,000.00 in lieu of bail; and Suspect three, Antonio Lozano male Hispanic, DOB 01/09/1997 was arrested for shooting in a grossly negligent manner, and held on $35,000.00 in lieu of bail.
An assault rifle and handgun were recovered at the scene.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) is responding to the 11900 block Cheshire Street, Norwalk, regarding a barricaded illegal shooting suspect.
 
The surrounding homes have been evacuated for the safety of the residents.
 
The SEB Special Weapons Team has assumed command of the tactical response and the Crisis Negotiation Team is on scene to help bring the situation to a peaceful resolution.
