On the morning of 1/26/2018 at 1007 A.M. patrol officers responded to a report of a bank robbery that just occurred at Chase Bank, located at 5800 Stoneridge Mall Road. Upon arrival officers determined an unknown male entered the bank and presented a note to the teller demanding money. The teller complied and provided an unspecified amount of money to the suspect. The suspect then exited the bank and fled the area. A newer model silver Toyota Camry was seen in the area at the time and may have been associated.
The suspect is described as a black male, 50 to 60 years old, approximately 6’3” tall and 200 pounds. He was wearing gray pants, a white shirt, a dark green beanie and dark rimmed eyeglasses.
The Pleasanton Police Department is actively pursuing investigative leads, however; due to the ongoing nature of this investigation additional details are not being released at this time.
