Evansville woman for driving past jail without a valid license. 
On January 25, 2018, at 12:48 p.m. Deputy Bryan Small observed 26 year old Kelcey Elijah of Evansville operating a Silver 2000 Dodge Stratus in front of the Gibson County Jail. Upon running Ms. Elijah through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles Deputy Small discovered that Ms. Elijah did not have a valid license and initiated a traffic stop. Upon placing Ms. Elijah into custody she was transported to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with Driving While Suspended/Prior. She has since posted a $650 bond.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
