We are now accepting applications for Citizens Academy!
Citizens Academy is designed to educate residents on public policy, City Hall operations, and an overview on how local government works.
It creates a foundation for residents who are interested in becoming Neighborhood Watch captains, Commissioners, and even Council Members.
Sessions are absolutely free and includes dinner, refreshments, and childcare.
The class consists of three one hour evening sessions held the second Thursday of the month at City Hall.
Classes start March 2, 2018, and application deadline is January 31, 2018.
