*FOUND* 2nd Update* #LASD Temple Det's Located Critical #Missing Juvenile, Cynthia Wheeler-Villanueva in San Pedro

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Temple Station detectives are advising Cynthia Wheeler-Villanueva has been found safe and in good condition in San Pedro.

Thank you to the public, the media, Aero Bureau, and deputy personnel for their tireless efforts in the search for young Cynthia.

UPDATED PRESS RELEASE IS AS FOLLOWS:

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Temple Station detectives are continuing to search for Cynthia Wheeler-Villanueva. She is a 10 year-old female Hispanic runaway, who was last seen leaving school on the 7500 block of Emerson Place in Rosemead, on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. 

Detectives canvassed parts of San Pedro near Pacific Avenue, Wednesday, January 17, 2018, for Cynthia Wheeler-Villanueva. They went to the areas where Cynthia used to live, and go to school. Detectives spoke to children from her former school who told them they saw her in the last couple of days and she looks in good condition.

Based on information they’ve obtain during the investigation from friends and family, they believe she left voluntarily and is not in any immediate danger, nor has she been kidnapped.

Detectives are asking for your help finding Cynthia Wheeler-Villanueva so we can get the 10 year-old girl off the streets.  

There is no further information at this time.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Temple Station detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Cynthia Wheeler-Villanueva. She is a 10 year-old female Hispanic runaway, who was last seen leaving school on the 7500 block of Emerson Place in Rosemead, on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 12:30 p.m.  

The juvenile is described as 5’01”, 105 lbs., brown hair in a bun, brown eyes, and wearing earrings.  She was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans, with black and pink shoes.

Her caregivers are very concerned and asking for the public’s assistance in located her/him.
