Carjackers Who Stole Vehicle And Abandoned 1 Month Old Infant And 4 Year Old Captured! Sheriff Victor Hill

When the call went out that a vehicle was stolen from QT on RIverdale Rd with a 4 year old and 1 month infant still inside the car, newly appointed Police Chief Kevin Roberts and Sheriff Victor Hill were on the phone collaborating.  Their two agencies work together daily, but this time it was different. This would become perhaps the biggest joint manhunt as both the Sheriff and Chief called in all of their elite teams of Detectives and Manhunters.

NOT IN CLAYTON COUNTY

Who would dare to enter the jurisdiction of Clayton County and abandon a child and 1 month infant?  “Surely they could not have been from Clayton because the criminals that are still left here know better than to go that far” stated a long time Clayton resident.    No statement could have ever been more true as the manhunt progressed.

While Clayton County Police best Detectives worked the crime scene developing evidence, the Sheriff’s special forces use their broad jurisdictional powers to track the kidnappers with k-9s on Metropolitan Pkwy picking up a trail and clues along the way.

24 hours later the joint investigation/manhunt resulted in the arrest of Khyree  Swift and and 16 year old juvenile who have both been charged with Kidnapping.  Sheriff Victor Hill is asking the courts to give both of them the maximum in punishment.

As Kyrree Smith now faces the wall at the “Hill ton”, let this serve as a warning to criminals in other areas to stay out of Clayton County.   We will hunt them in their own counties and bring them back to Clayton to face the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail.
