Deputies discover a stun gun and drugs following a traffic stop

LOCATION: Hillside Rd and Archibald Ave
SUSPECT: Shelly Smith, 35-year-old from Indio
SUMMARY:
On January 18, 2018, at 3:00 a.m., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded to an area check on Hillside Road and Archibald Avenue, regarding a female driving a red vehicle in the area with the headlights turned off. Deputies located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The female driver, identified as Shelly Smith, was driving with a suspended driver’s license.
During a search of Smith’s vehicle, deputies located a taser and a glass methamphetamine pipe. Smith was subsequently arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with a bail amount of $15,811.
