GCI Service Outage 
A GCI service outage will occur on Thursday, January 18th from 0:40 am to 4:40 am. This will affect using a cell phone to call 911. If the event of an emergency use a landline to contact 911. If you do not have a landline contact Public Safety on VHF Channel 16.
GCI states:
"As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure the highest level of performance, reliability and integrity of our network, we will be performing work as indicated below. As with any maintenance activity, there is the possibility of a brief outage. We apologize for any inconvenience this maintenance may cause. However, routine maintenance is required to continue providing an excellent quality of service. If you experience any technical problems or interruption of service after the assigned maintenance window, please call our Technical Assistance Center (TAC) at (907) 868-5555 or toll-free at 1-800-770-8725. Please reference the above ticket number."
