...Another Arctic Airmass Surging into the Area ... .Another frigid Arctic airmass is already pushing into the region and will provide bitterly cold temperatures. Temperatures will plunge into the teens and 20s tonight and could be quite similar Wednesday night. ...HARD FREEZE WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST WEDNESDAY... ...HARD FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM WEDNESDAY TO 11 AM CST THURSDAY... The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Hard Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 5 PM Wednesday to 11 AM CST Thursday.

* TEMPERATURE...Lows will fall into the mid teens to lower 20s along and north of the I-10/12 corridor. South of I-10 lows will range from 20 to 25. These temperatures will be similar Wednesday night.

* DURATION...Freezing conditions will likely last for 12 to 26 hours over much of the warned area tonight and then 12 to 18 hours Wednesday night.
