The Red Oak Police Department has been receiving multiple complaints from homeowners within the Harmony subdivision about people parking illegally. Some of these parking violations include people blocking fire hydrants, parking too close to stop signs and parking too far away from the curbs. These violations may prevent emergency personnel from reaching people in times of need. We ask that everyone think before they park to assist emergency personnel in providing emergency services to our citizens. We will be stepping up enforcement actions as necessary to assure the ability to provide these emergency services.
